DataNET Software is the result of ten years of evolution. It has been used by U.S. and Canadian Government Agencies for secure GPS tracking and IP packet data routing. The current version offers unsurpassed adaptability. Unlike ASP (Web Browser) software which ties the customer to a 3rd party server, DataNET is Client/Server based, allowing our resellers to operate their own revenue generating hub or to sell to larger corporations and Government Agencies who want to operate their own private network. Fully integrated with M.S. Mappoint, Virtual Earth, Google Maps and other mapping programs such as MapInfo and any other SHP map format. (requires Streets on a Disk mapping engine) . Licenses may be required for some mapping services such as Google or Microsoft.

DataNET consists of an IP packet data routing "Server" hub called DataGATE which will link to one or more "Client" software programs such as "DataHOST" or other 3rd. party software which connect to the DataGATE hub over the Internet or Intranet. DataNET is compatible with most wireless networks including Cellular, Mobile Radio and Satellite Networks on a Global basis. DataGate offers an alternative  solution to the more common ASP GPS tracking services which are hosted on 3rd. party servers. DataGate delivers a more secure environment which larger corporations and Government Agencies prefer, as DataGate would install in their own servers, satisfying their security requirements. DataNET is compatible with a range of  3rd. party hardware sourced directly from the distributors.

For larger companies or Government Agencies with a number of regional offices, DataHosts can be installed in remote computers as required and connect to the base DataGate router over the Internet.  The program can also be operated as a regional routing hub where an appointed reseller can host a DataGate router and provide data routing services to those companies who do not have the staff or the interest to manage their own hub, preferring to operate only the DataHost mapping and messaging screens.

DataNET provides an instant IP packet routing solution for those companies who do not have software engineers on staff, allowing them the ability to offer a time tested AVL Software solution to their customer base. DataNET can also be modified to meet the unique requirements of Government agencies and larger corporations.
