DLS-9612  a stand alone Iridium SBD modem
 

The DLS-9612 is a low cost portable modem that will allow Short Burst Data communications over the Iridium Satellite Constellation which provides Global coverage. The DLS-9612 can be connected to Laptops, PDAs and other Mobile Data devices that have external RS-232 connection via a COM port. The modem is controlled by AT commands.

Dimensions:  105mm wide,  33mm high, 135mm deep.  Weight: 270 grams.

The DLS-9612 is sold as a ready to operate modem or for appointed Iridium VARs with their own inventory of Quake Global Q9612 the DLS-9612 can be ordered without the Modem, allowing the Iridium VAR to install their own modems.
