USING GARMIN NUVI DEVICES WITH DATALINK'S HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE

You will also require a special data cable, available from the Garmin Shop https://buy.garmin.com/shop/  Part # 010-10865-00    You will have to connect a DB-9 (female) connector to the lose cable ends.  Solder the three wires as follows;

If you are using COM-2 on back of i50B

Black wire to  Pin 5
Yellow wire to Pin 2
White wire to  Pin 3

If you are using COM-1 on back of i50B

Black wire to  Pin 5
Yellow wire to Pin 3
White wire to  Pin 2

The DB-9 connector should normally be attached to COM-2.

You should now refer to the operation manual for the Tracker i50B for instructions on how to set up port routing in order to process data between the Garmin and the Trackeri50B. http://www.avl-software.com/i50B/i50B.pdf
