DATANET BASE SOFTWARE

DataNET is a powerful and flexible "back end" software packet routing program designed to be integrated with a range of 3rd party  hardware products.

DataNET will process TCP/IP and UDP packets and route them between remote devices over multiple wireless networks and any IP/port address on the Internet or corporate intranet.  DataNET has been designed to operate in a client/server relationship (DataGATE is the server and DataHOST  is the client) rather than an ASP central server. All records and data routing can be contained within the company's own I.T. structure, eliminating costly  long-term contracts with 3rd. party Web hosting ASP companies. DataGate can also interface directly with an SQL or other ODBC compliant database.

DataNET can also operate in a fully "transparent" mode, linking 3rd. party remote devices with 3rd. party base programs over compatible multiple wireless  networks.

DYNAMIC IP ADDRESSES

DataNET can capture and store the dynamically assigned IP address for mobile devices such as GSM-GPRS modems. DataHOST is Datalink's client program that resides on the company's workstations and provides two-way text messaging and mapping display.
