Globalstar Simplex

Datalink has developed an IP packet routing software switch (PlexGATE), which would be located on the Simplex VAR's server and will intercept the packets from Globalstar's Simplex Gateway. Based on the ESN, the packets will be routed to the prescribed existing ASP server, or via the LAN or Internet to DataGate software located on the VAR's server, a sub-reseller's server, or "corporate end user" computer as directed by the VAR.
PlexGate integrated with Datalink's DataGate can process GPS tracking and other telemetry (SCADA) data, routing the packet stream to the "end users" DataHost mapping screens, or other hosting programs or DataBases. When DataHost is added, mobile Simplex devices can be tracked globally and displayed on MS Virtual Earth Global Digital Maps. Other mapping programs including marine charts.
