Datalink's MDT-214G is a low-cost alternative DOS based terminal with four serial COM-ports which allows for other devices such as engine computer interface, printers, satellite and terrestrial modems with auto-switching.

The MDT-214G connects directly to the SkyHawk via the modem port.

Datalink's "Mobius" software program installed in a Windows based Laptop or Tablet P.C. in the vehicle cab provides a multi-network communications platform and also "on-screen" navigation. Mobius will control the SkyHawk Globalstar terminal with auto-switching to terrestrial modems such as CDMA EV-DO and GPRS.
