LONE WORKER SAFETY

Datalink Systems inc. has developed an advanced safety monitoring system for field workers in any location. The Lone Worker system can work over private radio networks, GSM cellular networks and Global coverage satellite networks. We offer a number of options depending on the type of work and protection required.

The Grace T-Pass series of wireless safety monitoring devices provides two-way data communications between workers and their vehicles. The information is then relayed over satellite, cellular or mobile radio channels to the base monitoring software via a Tracker i50.

If the worker collapses or is incapacitated the unit will automatically send an emergency alert to the base monitoring control. The base monitoring software can also automatically send text message emergency alerts via email to one or more cell-phones.

Our GPSTrack allows a Blackberry to be used as a lone worker device. Please click here for more information.

The TRACKER i50 has ten years of design experience behind it. Internal module options include Iridium  9612 SBD Satellite modem, GSM GPRS quad band modem and 802.11B Wi-Fi. When Iridium and GPRS modems are installed the Tracker automatically switches to lowest cost GPRS when available, allowing world wide operation.

The i50B Tracker is fully integrated with our DataGate "back end" IP routing software, allowing complete "end to end" performance with a choice of mapping programs and client workstation software (optional) or direct connection to most Database programs.

This unit is required to operate the Grace lone worker devices.

BACK END SOFTWARE

The SUPERCELL is intended for normal atmospheres
Our "back end" software allows one or multiple monitoring desks to respond to an emergency alert within seconds. The DataGate control hub can also automatically send email alerts to manager's and field supervisors cell-phones. The following is a typical monitoring and dispatch screen.

Garmin units with the "Fleet Management" firmware can simply plug into the rear panel of the Tracker i50 providing two-way text messaging  between the base office and drivers.  The driver can send "canned" messages or free form using the on screen QWERTY keypad to the base office.

Workers can be up to 2 Km from their vehicle ( line of sight) and still be in communication with the base office or monitoring desk.
