The MT 3000 plugs directly into the vehicle OBD-II socket, which is easily accessible under the dash. OBD-II is available on most gasoline and diesel (under 8500 lbs GVW) powered vehicles built after 1996. Data is sent via GPRS or SMS using an internal cellular modem.

The Spider MT-3000 delivers almost real-time monitoring of "at risk" drivers and vehicle maintenance alerts.
