Remote Control of Highway Message Signs over Iridium

The i50-VMS provides an easy replacement for cellular linked highway signs, allowing remote control of signs anywhere. The Iridium constellation of 66 low earth orbit satellites provides world wide coverage and message delivery in typically 10 seconds.

Smart technology within the i50-VMS adheres to the NTCIP protocols and greatly reduces the "over the air" message size to keep satellite airtime costs low.

The i50-VMS uses an IP-Port communication structure which should allow for simple integration with existing message controllers.
